What the
auction sites are actually offering are to
provide you with the
latest and updated list of locations,
times
and details of places where all of the seized vehicles
auctions
are held.
Some auction sites will also highlight
some of the best auctions that you should take part to get
the best bang for your buck, such as GovernmentAuctions.org.
Some will also provide you with tutorials and eBooks about
auctions, such as Gov-Auctions.org.
There's a free route though, which is by doing all of the research by
yourself. Here's a few links to get you started in the right direction:
US Marshals Service
GSA
Fleet Vehicle
Sales
IRS
Department
of Defense
FirstGov.gov
If you are going through the free route, be prepared for hours and days
of work, reading through hundreds of listings from other areas,
other
cities, and sometimes even other countries.
If time is an asset to you, then you could just leverage the auction
websites' efforts and join them. The time
you will save is worth the price paid.
After joining the auction site, all you need to do is:
1. Press the 'Login' Button
2. Choose your state
3. Get the details
Done! As simple as that!
As mentioned above, here are the auction sites that I've found
to have pretty cool customer support.. Gov-Auctions
and GovernmentAuctions.
If you're not into auctions, then be sure to check these out..
